This magazine is a slim publication, but don’t be fooled by its small size. It contains a great deal of content on all the latest developments in the world of embroidery. When we picked up this magazine we expected to read a magazine with slightly dull ‘how to’ sections and features on old fashioned techniques, we were pleasantly surprised when we realised that this magazine is extremely modern and likes to showcase the more unusual side of embroidery art.
Have you ever heard of an embroidered heart stitched sculpture? Or have you ever heard of embroidered wedding blankets from Iraq? Neither had we! We were amazed at how the techniques have evolved over the years and how the modern artists are using the technique in completely new and unheard of ways.
If you are an advanced embroiderer and you fancy giving yourself some new challenges then we suggest that you have a look through this magazine for some much needed inspiration. While some of the ideas may be tricky to recreate the publication will at the very least inspire seasoned embroiderers to try something new. This magazine shows readers than there is so much more that can be created with embroidery than meets the eye.
Embroidery Magazine is in the Knitting and Crochet category and is just one of over 3,000 magazines now available at Newsstand, to browse recent front covers of Embroidery Magazine, please click here.
